Alana De La Garza's beauty has left an impression even on tiny screens. De La Garza born 1976 to an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing a career as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in local independent films as well as global commercials. Even with the minor parts, she realized that acting was her love. Her move was from the Midwest to New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap-opera All My Children. She had minor roles on JAG the Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. The first time she had a major role in a series was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some amazing TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. In the following seasons, she was a part of the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for numerous Awards, including the Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008, she was awarded an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the next few days, De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring character. She was cast as Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most current TV work was with NBC's rather dramatic dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was eventually cancelled after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The mother of the child is an Italian father as well as a sister Cory whom is 10 year younger than her. Her family was strict and religious one. Milano's career began at age seven, as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. With more than 1000 applicants her name was picked as one of just four. Milano was featured in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical version to Jane Eyre.
